'Lough Allen' - New video release on New Year's Day.

Ciarán Farrell and Damien Kelly, (Farrell Kelly), will release their latest video, 'Lough Allen', from 'The Shannon Suite', on their YouTube channel on New Year's day.

The Shannon Suite, which was originally commissioned by guitarist John Feeley and recorded for his album 'E-Motion', has been performed and broadcast across the globe since it's first release. It has also been arranged for a number of different ensembles most notably for sax and guitar with sax maestro Gerard McChrystal on soprano sax and Craig Ogden on guitar. They have recorded the work for two different CDs already and have performed the suite more than thirty times in their live concerts to date.

The most recent arrangement is for the Chatam Saxophone Quartet which was commissioned for an album they intend to record in 2013. The work had to be completely re-written to suit the ensemble but none of the original character has been lost in the new arrangement.

The latest interpretation of the solo guitar version can be heard on the Farrell Kelly release, 'New Frontiers', which also includes the sheet music for both it and all the other works on the CD.

'Lough Allen', will be the fourth video release from the Farrell Kelly collaboration.
